Oak Valley Hospital District is currently seeking a dynamic Human Resources Manager for our Human Resources Department who will embrace our mission, vision, and values. Position Summary:

The Human Resources Manager is responsible for overseeing all human resources operations within the District, ensuring compliance with legal regulations and hospital policies.

Responsible for the daily activities, including coordination of Human Resources operations/function(s), supervision and evaluation of the Human Resources Department. Coordinates all Human Resources services regarding education, compensation, benefits, leaves, employment, employee relations, investigations, labor relations, and employment law. Able to successfully work with conflict resolution. Be a resource to Management on HR leadership.

Works collaboratively with all members of the management team and towards achievement of the Oak Valley Hospital District (OVHD) goals and objectives. Provides on-going leadership in the areas of financial accountability, personal development, and quality care/service for assigned areas and functions.

The Human Resources Manager is a member of the management team and has a responsibility to assist in the development of programs and services that will enhance the effective utilization of its human resources.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in Human Resources or related field preferred.
  • Five (5) years’ of progressive work experience in Human Resources with a minimum of three (3) years’ supervisory experience required, preferably in a hospital setting
  • At least three (3) years’ experience in employee relations, including union negotiations and grievance resolution Strong knowledge of HR principles, employment laws, and best practices
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Knowledge of Human Resources laws, practice, and theory
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
  • Proficient in Human Resources Information Systems
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, and possess good presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and work well with all levels of management and employees

Exempt Salaried position pay range: $90,000-120,000 per year

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
