The Admissions Outreach specialist reports to the Sr. Associate Director of Executive MBA admissions and is an integral part of the Mendoza Graduate Enrollment Team. Under the guidance of the Sr. Associate Director, the Admissions Outreach Specialist is responsible for engaging with prospective students for the Mendoza Graduate Business Programs and will be one of the primary points of contact for candidates from initial inquiry through submission of their application.This individual will support admission efforts by building relationships with prospective students through multiple channels including phone, email, walk-in visits and events. This individual will also receive visitors, guests, and prospective students upon arrival in the Enrollment Team Suite.

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
  • Serves as a receptionist by receiving and welcoming prospective students, campus visitors, and guests upon arrival to the Enrollment Team Suite inside the Mendoza College of Business. Directs individuals to respective team members upon arrival, answers questions, and maintains a high level of customer service.
  • Conducts prospective student outreach conducted through multiple channels including phone calls, email, text messaging, walk-in visits, and events.
  • Engages with and acts as a resource for prospective students for all Mendoza Graduate Business Programs through educating candidates about the specific details programs, explaining the applications process, and assisting with answering questions for how the program fits with the individual’s personal and professional goals.
  • Uses and operates our customer relationship management system, Slate, to record interactions with prospective students, email candidates, sort data and consolidate information, all to provide outstanding service to candidates.
  • Assists with recruitment functions as requested including but not limited to reading candidate applications, interviewing candidates, assisting with virtual and on-campus events, etc.
  • Provides support to admissions staff by working on special projects as requested.
