This is a full time, salaried position. This is a work-from-home position, but requires residency within the San Diego area. On-site as needed, depending on the projects. Eligible to participate in the Management Incentive Compensation Plan.

The IS Project Manager is responsible for the completion and implementation of large, complex, multi-disciplinary, enterprise wide Scripps information technology (IT) projects. Projects span a wide range, and may include projects for facilities and construction, Epic applications, enterprise architecture and more. This position is ideal for the well-rounded Project Manager interested in leading a variety of projects.
Responsibilities include:
- Provide a broad range of project management and analytical services for complex, strategically defined Scripps projects.
- Management of the various teams, both internal and external to the I.S. organization, scope definition, schedule timeline, as well as ensuring implementation and completion of multi-disciplinary projects.
- All project managers must support and comply with IS PMO policies, procedures, and methodology to deliver successful moderate and large, multi-million dollar projects.
Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills:
- Experience with information services or enterprise healthcare business practices.
- Understanding of emerging technologies, resource allocation, capital and operating budget development and tracking, as well as thorough documentation is required.
- Expert usage of Project Management tools such as Microsoft Project required.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Project, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, SharePoint, and Visio.
- Must possess strong communications skills, both written and verbal, as well as organizational skills.
- Ability to manage stakeholder groups and balance diplomacy with assertiveness.
- Ability to prioritize and display a customer center approach to meet deadlines while managing multiple high priority issues simultaneously.
Required Certification/Registration:
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification or other Project Management Certification/Educational equivalent.
Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification:
- Bachelor's degree.
- Experience within a multi-facility health care system.
- Experience in the management of moderate to complex projects.
- Project Management methodologies, Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC), Agile, Waterfall, and LEAN Six Sigma Certifications preferred.
- ServiceNow experience.
