Mobile Application Tester - Remote!
Job Description
Please be aware that to qualify for this position, you need to be able to work on a direct W-2 basis with Genesis10 (no corp-to-corp).Genesis10 is seeking a Test Engineer 2 for a remote 12-month contract position with a leading client in San Diego, CA. This role pays $55-65 per hour on a W2 based on experience.
Candidates applying must be a US Citizen or Green Card Holder and able to work on a W2 basis directly with Genesis10.
Job Duties:
- Develop and maintains SDK test automation for client Mobile Apps
- Develop and maintains Android and/or iOS Mobile App Test Tools
- Develop and maintains CI/CD for client SDK test suite
- Document software verification test protocols and create requirements traceability matrices which demonstrate test coverage of all features of client SDK product
- Execute software verification plans and test protocols by following the project schedule
- Record and track issues in the bug tracking system, and analyze failures and collaborate with development teams to ensure root cause is investigated
- Participate in software requirements, design, code and test reviews
- Run regression analysis and run regression test accordingly to the software changes.
- Minimum of 3 years of Software Mobile App Development related experience
- Proven history of design, development, implementation, and maintenance of API test automation to test the functional specifications/requirements and performance of software and systems
- Excellent skills with Java and Swift (iOS) or Kotlin (Android OS) programming language and the ability to integrate them in large scale projects
- Experience with Appium, XCUITest, xCode are a plus.
- High degree of diligence in coding, testing, debugging, documentation, and attention to detail
- Previous CI/CD implementation experience and knowledge of SDLC
- Proficient with Object Oriented Language and Source Control Tool
