Description

APPLE INC has the following available in San Diego, California. Design, develop and test software for wireless products. Oversee test plan development and execution. Enforce project milestones and quality policies. Analyze test failures and logs, debug and trouble shoot complex software issues and crashes, identify, diagnose and report product defects. Determine the methodologies, plans and quality policies that govern the execution of product testing. Drive cross-team task forces to address complex product defects to be fixed which require software development and system integration team involvement. Plan and lead test infrastructure and setups ramp up and ramp down in project life cycle. 40 hours/week. At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $161,700 - $243,300/yr and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.   • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Electronics and Communications Engineering, Computer Science or related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation.
  • 1 year of experience with each of the following skills is required:
  • 5G, LTE, UMTS, CDMA, or GSM
  • MTBF, Stability Testing, Automation tools, test suits, or execution
  • Knowledge in testing the cellular protocols
  • Experience in operating simulators
  • Access Stratum
  • Non-Access Stratum
  • 3GPP and ETSI standard
