The User Privacy QA & Tools team is looking for a software engineer with a strong technical and triaging background to help screen and debug incoming issues. We need someone who is comfortable working in an exciting environment with rapidly changing priorities, and someone creative and inspired to invent new ways to help build better products.

Description

In this role, you will help us screen incoming bugs, manage a large queue in a timely manner, reduce them to actionable steps, and assign them to appropriate engineers. You will also be working collaboratively with engineering teams, management, and program office within Apple.
  • Ability to utilize basic debugging and troubleshooting techniques
  • Experience with QA methodologies
  • Flexibility and ability to adapt in a dynamic environment
  • Knowledge of Python, Javascript or other scripting language
  • Experience working with Git or other source control systems
  • Familiarity with automated functional or performance testing
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail

  • Privacy/Security experience a plus


Pay & Benefits

    At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $88,109 and $170,100 annualized, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

    Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs.
