General Job Description:

This position is responsible for maximizing the market penetration of the Field Services Group in the assigned region at acceptable and agreed to profitability levels. This will be accomplished by capitalizing on the Company's existing engineering know-how, skilled labor force, and linkage to ACCO's construction business and financial resources. Retaining and/or strategically adding highly motivated sales and field personnel within the Company's compensation policies is essential. Meeting or exceeding both external and internal customer expectations as they relate to the professionalism, timeliness and ethics of the sales force is an ongoing objective of the position. Support and responsibilities for Business Unit profit centers: business development, account management, securing new retrofit/TI opportunities (Small and Mid-Market), core service accounts, cost estimation, sales strategy, work scope documentation, pre-job planning and job closures.

Supervises:

Regional Sales Managers & Supports - Regional Field and Business Process Leaders

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Successfully develop and implement the regional strategic goals and financial budget including revenue, gross profit, operating income, SG&A and monthly financial analysis for the region
  • Maintain, protect, and communicate ACCO's core values by leading by example and holding the team accountable including developing a local business culture specific to the geographic region, always promoting a culture of safety
  • Lead and foster a strong team where individuals are identified, communicated with, and mentored to ensure a smooth future succession planning of Service Sales Management roles
  • Provide direction and career path development opportunities to all levels of sales personnel, including assisting in relocation and deployment opportunities within the division or company
  • Mentor Sales Managers on creating geographic budgets, implementing sales strategies that emphasize projected growth, and in providing CFA analysis to sales personnel for projected quota/income expectations
  • Mentor Sales Managers to maintain sales staffing levels for projected department annual revenue goals
  • Counsel all direct reports on sales strategies, estimating, scope of work, risk management, project safety requirements, contracts, building codes, etc. to ensure positive financial results
  • Develop and foster strong relationships with organizational leadership to execute recruiting, retention, and training/development strategies that support the regional and local needs including field Sales and business processes
  • Collaborate with regional leadership to identify specific market changes, technological advances/needs, and areas of vulnerability and potential product/service opportunities to ensure sustainability and growth for the department
  • Ensure communication and adherence to corporate governance execution through the team
  • Other tasks and duties as assigned by supervisor and/or upper management

Position Requirements (Skills, Work Experience, Education, Certifications, Licenses, etc.):

  • High School Diploma or equivalent. Bachelor's degree is preferred.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to:

  • Walk and stand; climb and balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl (for purposes of assisting with project job walks and site inspections).
  • Lift, push, pull, carry, and/or move up to 10 pounds, and occasionally up to 30 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include Close vision and Distance vision.
  • Maintain regular and routine attendance.

Hours:

This is an exempt position. Workdays are scheduled from Monday through Friday. Typically, work hours begin and end between 7:00 am and 5:00 pm as scheduled with the position's supervisor. Occasional overtime may be necessary per business needs.

Travel:

The position requires regular travel to and from the assigned office location to regional branch offices and/or to project/customer site(s).

Competitive Wages:

$175,000 to $200,000 Annual Salary. Applicants please note that actual compensation is determined by several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, depth of experience, certifications, relevant education or training, and specific work location, among others. The offered wage or salary is only one aspect of an employee's total compensation.
