What You'll Do

The Oracle EPBCS Admin will serve as the lead administrator of Teradata's Oracle EPM Systems to support the Oracle EPB, PCM and EDM applications across the enterprise. Primary responsibilities will be facilitating all activities related to monthly financial forecasting and annual plan cycles within the Oracle Fusion modules and related and technical boundary system ecosystem

Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance and administration of financial forecasting systems including Oracle EPB, PCM, and EDM
  • Maintaining the planning system hierarchies, load/calculation scripts, and substitution variables
  • Support the current business user needs, and coordinate the execution of future state enhancements arisen due to metadata changes and/or business process changes
  • Maintaining the stability of planning system with blend of Oracle EPB technical expertise, FP&A process understanding and strong communication skills.
  • Implementing monthly metadata maintenance including working with a parallel FCC resource to keep EPB and PCM systems aligned
  • Ensuring data accuracy and integrity in the Planning systems. This includes agreement of data to other systems. Reconciliation and (if necessary) correction of data are significant parts of the role
  • Interfacing data into the Planning systems from Oracle Cloud ERP and FCC
  • Setting up, opening and closing Oracle EPB for forecasts timetables, managing processes and monitoring system performance during these event
  • Managing Oracle EPB security (user, metadata, versioning etc.)
  • Supporting users with system issues
  • Supporting initiatives to make data available in dashboard and similar tools
  • Support for Data Management integrations and EPMAutomate

What Makes You a Qualified Candidate

  • 3-5 years of experience configuring, managing, process management on Oracle Fusion plan to perform modules (EPB, PCM, EDM)
  • Demonstrated experience in collaborating with business and technical resources within the Fusion ecosystem overseeing support and new functionality build and operationalization
  • Normal and expected Oracle Fusion certifications supporting the role.

What You'll Bring

  • Experience with Oracle EPB, PCM and EDM
  • Experience in maintaining and supporting Oracle EPB applications and enhancements to planning artifacts - dimensions, load rules, business rules, calc scripts, MDX, ASO cubes etc.
  • Experience with Management Reports (MR) and SmartView
  • Technical understanding of the Oracle EPM of products and their integration
  • Working knowledge of Oracle EDM and PCM
  • Proficient with Batch Process and automation
  • Proficient with MS Excel (Pivot tables, logic formulas, vlookups, etc.)
  • Finance background with the ability to understand complex financial models
