We advocate for policy reform to remove systemic barriers to low-income and historically underserved families accessing affordable shelter.

Job Description: We are seeking a visionary and dynamic leader to serve as our Executive Director. In this role, you will lead Habitat for Humanity LBPC in achieving its mission and maximizing its impact. Reporting to the Board of Directors, you will provide strategic direction, operational oversight, and inspirational leadership to our dedicated team.

• Develop and implement strategic plans to advance the organization's mission and goals.
• Assure a safe and healthy workplace is provided to employees, volunteers, partner families served, customers and others who are on-site at HFHLBPC construction and ReStore sites.
• Lead and mentor staff, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
• Oversee the implementation of new home construction and home repair programs for eligible populations in the HFHLBPC service area.
• Ensure that revenue goals are achieved, and expenditures are managed in a manner that fully complies with applicable law and regulation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in nonprofit management, business administration, social sciences, or a related field required;
• Experience in nonprofit leadership roles, with a track record of success in strategic planning, program development, and fundraising.
• Financial management skills, including budgeting, grant writing, and revenue diversification.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building abilities.
• Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, both in organizational practices and programmatic initiatives.
• Passion for Habitat for Humanity’s mission and dedication to serving the community.
• Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation required.
• Some knowledge of building materials and methods preferred.
