Job Posting Description

The part-time Sr Program Coordinator will be responsible for:
  • Managing day-to-day program activities and daily operations of one or more programs or centers.
  • Contributing to the financial management including making budget recommendations, monitoring monthly expenses, and reconciling Program/Center and other accounts. Preparing proposals for funding and/or funding continuation from outside sponsors
  • Providing technical advice and problem-solving assistance related to program goals and objectives; escalating requests to other resources as needed
  • Coordinating evaluation of program effectiveness. Generating periodic reports and records on program activities, progress, status, or other special reports for management or outside agencies. Reviewing and analyzing reports, assessing trends or changes. Developing recommendations for discussion
  • Participating in discussions pertaining to the program; updating the manager or director appropriately. Calling the manager’s attention to trends or changes and may recommending programmatic changes. Developing agreed-to recommendations
  • Coordinating and leading recruitment efforts that may include reviews of applications, interviews, and orientation
  • Composing written communication and promotional literature for the program and department. May be planning workshops, meetings, or conferences; coordinating logistics, scheduling, and participant communications
  • Interacting and liaising with staff, faculty, and outside/community agencies to facilitate meeting the program objectives
To qualify, you must have:
  • Associate’s Degree.
  • 5 years related experience or 3 years and Bachelor’s degree
  • Communication skills in order to effectively deal with conflicting views or issues and mediate fair solutions, or well developed writing skills
  • Knowledge and skills necessary to solve complex problems in the areas of clinical/research operations, business planning, financial management, marketing, personnel and information systems management
  • Command respect, conflict resolution skills, organizational skills and think independently
  • Work with diverse internal and external constituencies
  • Lead support staff and influence internal leaders and external contacts
