Essential Job Duties
- Lab Organization: Maintain and organize the laboratory.
- Benchtop Experiments: Perform DNA extraction, PCR, and other routine lab tasks.
- Sample Collection Assistance: Help with collecting samples as needed.
- Collaboration: Work alongside students and house officers rotating through the lab.
- Animal Interaction: Work with domestic animals, primarily horses and dogs, depending on the candidate’s comfort level.

- Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team
- Organization of the laboratory and research records
- General knowledge of laboratory procedures
- Coordination with research collaborators
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in biological or biomedical laboratory
- Comfort around domestic animals
Required License or Certification
Valid NC Driver's License required
