POSTDOCTORAL ASSOCIATE Position
Yale School of Medicine is seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Associate to join the lab of William G. Chang MD, PhD (Assistant Professor in the Department of Medicine and Section of Nephrology). The research project will focus on tissue engineering models of kidney disease. More specifically, the Associate will develop microfluidic devices to model and analyze tubular dysfunction in polycystic kidney disease. The Associate will be supervised by Dr. Chang. We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated scientist who will receive intensive mentorship and training in laboratory research techniques, critical thinking, and problem solving. The Associate will participate in manuscript publications, laboratory group meetings, and will gain critical experience presenting their research.
Applicants for the position should have an MD, PhD, or MD/PhD (or equivalent) with significant experience in life sciences, biomaterials, biomedical engineering, or a related field.
