Research Assistant
Job Description
Intensive research and scholarly work on a funded cancer research initiative. The Johns Hopkins Radiation Oncology Department has an opening for a Research Assistant.
Specific Duties & Responsibilities
- To analyze x-ray CT, PET, and MRI images of small animal preclinical radiation experiments.
- To assist with the writing and editing of manuscripts.
- To present research projects at meetings and conferences.
- To perform data annotation and/or statistical analysis for various research projects.
- To assist with tasks on other research projects as required.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in related discipline.
- Additional related experience may substitute for required education, to the extent permitted by the JHU equivalency formula.
Preferred Qualifications
- Applicants who have prior experience in medical imaging analysis will be preferred.

Role/Level/Range: ACRO40/E/03/CD
Starting Salary Range: $17.20 - $30.30 HRLY ($25,000 targeted; Commensurate with experience)
Employee group: Casual / On Call
Schedule: M-F, 8:30am-5:00pm
Exempt Status: Non-Exempt
