As our Human Resources Generalist, you will support HR initiatives developed by the HRBP leadership. You will be responsible for HR administration, provide guidance regarding HR policies and procedures, and support hiring practices. You may also deliver training to assigned client group.
Salary Range: $30.56 to $60.82 Hourly. 1 of 2 available positions
Qualifications
Required:
- Human Resources experience with demonstrated progression in areas of responsibility
- Knowledge of procedures and practices that govern HR administration, preferably in a university or health care environment.
- Analytical skills to conduct analysis, develop recommendations, and resolve complex issues.
- Knowledge of human resources concepts, employment practices, employee/labor relations, salary administration, recruitment, training, and other areas of human resources.
- Strong oral and written communication skills to effectively relay and obtain information, explain policies and procedures, and establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with diverse audiences, including faculty, staff, and students.
- Demonstrated experience in coaching or consulting with department clients and/or internal customers related to areas of HR governance.
Preferred:
- UC Path / PeopleSoft or applicable enterprise software
- Service Now or Project Management Software
