$65,000-$67,000 salary commensurate with education, experiences, and other requirements. Comprehensive benefit package (health care, vacation, etc.).

Summary of Position:
Provide expert financial aid support to campus constituents and office staff, including appropriate information on aid eligibility, debt management, cost of attendance at Ferris State University and more. Maintain expert knowledge concerning the regulatory governance of institutional, state, and federal financial aid programs.

Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university.
Required Work Experience:
Experience in Financial Aid, Higher Ed and/or Enrollment Management.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
Work closely with the Director of Financial Aid to provide support and development for essential financial aid processes.
Manage the financial aid packaging and awarding processes.
Provide feedback to the Director regarding impacts to students, families, and staff.
Demonstrates an understanding of diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging, especially in working relationships with students, faculty, staff, and community members.
Support, promote, and develop university student enrollment and retention initiatives..
Manage automations and enhance office efficiencies including knowledge of Banner processes, automation design and scheduling, manage Banner propjets and financial aid rules.
Manage financial aid upgrades for University ERP Software.
Implement changes necessitated by regulatory updates.
Provide Financial Aid Office support for Federal Enrollment Reporting.
Perform any other duties assigned within the position classification area.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with an ability to convey an appropriate amount of information to a diverse constituency of students, faculty, staff, executive leadership, and community members in a professional manner.
