PTF seeks a mid-career, lifelong learning professional to assist in the management, oversight, and execution of various programs and engagement for the Tillman Scholars program. The Manager for Programs & Leadership team serves on a 6-person team, reports to the Associate Director of Programs & Leadership, has zero direct reports, but indirectly manages many projects for PTF. The Manager will be entrusted with a great deal of autonomy and needs to be innovative and creative, while having the ability to work in a fast paced, ever changing, highly-collaborative environment. This role will be a thought partner to the Associate Director of Programs & Leadership, and act as spokesperson and ambassador for PTF and its community.

What You’ll Do
Scholar Engagement

Create and implement innovative programs and events to enhance the scholar experience.

Build strong relationships and identify opportunities for growth/improvments..

Organize and facilitate small group touchpoints around focused topics and impact areas.
Programmatic Event Planning & Execution
-
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute impactful programming.
-
Support the successful implementation of initiatives.

Evaluate program effectiveness and help inform data-driven recommendations.
External Engagement
-
Represent the organization at external events and conferences.

Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the military and veteran communities.

Expand the organization's footprint on military bases through strategic outreach and partnerships.
Additional General Responsibilities

Assist with administrative tasks, such as data entry and report generation.

Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.

Flexible work environment. This role will be hybrid based out of our office at 180 N. La Salle St. We are in the office on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 9-5pm. Tuesdays and Fridays are remote days.
