Job Summary
The University of Michigan Shared Services Center (U-M SSC) is a customer service organization focused on providing user-friendly and cost-effective administrative services to the university community. The SSC offers key financial and human resource transaction services to customers.
The MCard is the official identification card for the University of Michigan. Members of the UM community use the MCard all across our campuses, whether it is for using a meal plan at the dining hall or gaining after-hours access to campus buildings. The MCard team works closely with key partners across the Ann Arbor, Flint, Dearborn, and Michigan Medicine campuses striving to provide a seamless experience for those who hold MCards.
Reporting to the MCard Program Manager, the MCard Program Coordinator focuses on the day-to-day operations and administration of the MCard program. This includes being the primary contact for MCard inquiries and troubleshooting the printing equipment when ID Printing Stations have an issue. The successful candidate will have a strong
commitment to customer service and a proven record of developing relationships across different teams.
The MCard Coordinator will be expected to be onsite as needed. During most of the year, the MCard Coordinator can expect to be onsite one day a week. During peak periods of the year, the Coordinator can expect to be onsite up to 5 days a week
Responsibilities*
Primary tasks and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Customer Service (60%)
MCard Production & Distribution (30%)
Data Integrity & Analytics (10%)

Modes of Work
The work requirements allow both onsite and offsite work and an employee has an expected recurring onsite presence. On occasion, the employee may be required and must be available to work onsite more frequently if necessitated by unit leadership or their designee and/or the job requirements.
