Role Description

In this role reporting to the Sr. Project Manager, Finance PMO you will help manage key Finance projects and play a critical supporting finance. Project coordinator responsibilities include the coordination of all aspects of projects: assisting with developing work plans, tracking task status, RAID log and summarizing progress of projects. You will also assist in the preparation of portfolio, program, and project dashboards to keep all informed and updated.

You will support project management practices to drive effective, efficient, high-quality delivery that consistently meets or exceeds the expectations of the business. This position requires relationship management and collaboration across the PMO, working with global teams across functions. The successful candidate must be able to understand and articulate the established project management governance, processes, templates etc. utilizing the Smartsheet platform to ensure strategic alignment and successful execution. Excellent communication skills with strong experience in supporting project managers is essential. This is a business focused role - the individual will not be leading a technical team but will focus on supporting the accountability of business team tasks.

This is hybrid remote / onsite role with the expectation to balance being in the San Diego office to collaborate with team members. Occasional travel to other domestic and international offices may also be required. Additionally, this role will require flexibility to meet with global teams in different time-zones on a regular basis.

Responsibilities
* The primary objective is to perform project support and completion using an internal customer perspective, typically from initiation through delivery utilizing the established toolkit and processes developed in Smartsheet.
* Coordinate and support cross-functional teams through meetings and progress measurement activity which bring distinct, specific projects to completion both on time and within budget.
* Support team members and establish healthy, collaborative relationships.
* Maintain enthusiasm, energy and focus in a variety of circumstances.
* Supports and participates in development of the project plans templates for the workstream including stakeholder engagement, communications, change impacts etc.
* Supports and develops project management governance, processes and toolkit utilizing Smartsheet as the project management tool.
* Contributesto and reviewskey workstream template deliverables.
* Advises the workstream leads and other leaders within the workstream on project implementation priorities by utilizing templates created in Smartsheet
* Participates in all project management meetings and adheres to governance and disciplines of approved processes for the Finance PMO.
* Facilitate and document lessons learned and best practice processes throughout the stages of the project
*Additional Skills & Qualifications:*
Hard requirement: The candidate must have experience with Smartsheet. This is the project management software that the team utilizes, and the candidates must be proficient with the tool. During the first round interview with Warren, he will perform a Smartsheet "assessment" to ensure they can use the system.
