The incumbent will receive emergency cases during daytime triage duty and will have intern, resident and student supervisor responsibility during swing shifts and weekends. Weekend shift responsibilities include cage-side morning rounds with house officers, as well as supervision and backup for the ICU and Triage services.

Minimum Experience/Education
DVM (or equivalent degree) and eligibility for veterinary licensure (or faculty certificate) in the State of NC required.
Department Required Skills
Extensive experience in emergency/critical care medicine. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on an occasional basis and up to 100 with assistance.
Preferred Years Experience, Skills, Training, Education
Prefer a minimum of three years receiving emergency cases and/or a small animal rotating internship.
Preference will be given to candidates that are residency trained in Emergency and Critical Care.
