Position Summary/Purpose of Position:
This is a 1.0 FTE 9-month position with benefits. The position primarily involves teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in epidemiology along with carrying out departmental related duties/service. The successful candidate will bring expertise in any epidemiological subdiscipline (e.g., chronic disease epi, infectious disease epi, environmental epi etc). This position reports to the departmental chair and coordinates/supports teaching along with other departmental duties/service.

Education:
MS or MPH in Epidemiology with other terminal degree (PhD, DrPH) in related field.
MS or MPH in Epidemiology with other terminal degree (PhD, DrPH) in related field.
Experience:
Experience in teaching undergraduate and graduate course in epidemiology.
Responsibilities: Successful candidate for the position is expected to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in epidemiology at fundamental and intermediate levels, and mentor students. In addition to teaching, responsibilities may include developing new course syllabi; attending and participating in program planning meetings; participating in program assessment and evaluation; assisting with the revision of syllabi and curriculum revisions; and serving on departmental, school and campus committees. Effective interpersonal, communication, and collaborative skills are essential
