Full job description
Assume responsibility for assignments offering concurrent exposure to hospital operations and corporate administration in an integrated comprehensive regional academic health care delivery system. Responsible for planning, completing and evaluating administrative projects in various areas including, but not limited to governance, medical staff development, hospital operations, managed care, ambulatory care, policy, finance, planning and marketing. Work closely with the executive team throughout the hospital. Actively participate in assigned administrative, medical, board and hospital committee meetings.
- Apply healthcare knowledge and expand leadership competencies through Involvement in projects based upon institutional needs and professional interest
- Assume responsibility for learning and developing administrative and management skills by shadowing, mentorship, and training opportunities
- Participate in professional education and development through the Learning Center and internal and external conferences
- Actively participate in assigned divisions and other meetings, as appropriate
- Assist management in the organization and coordination of operations, financial responsibilities, and personnel activities, including hiring, orient, training, supervising and evaluating staff within the administrative fellowship
- Partner and collaborate with faculty and other providers to continuously improve the quality of care
- Monitor and evaluate QCDSE metrics for the department
- Implement and integrate PDCA methodologies and A3 thinking to approach problem-solving
- Perform workflow analysis and develop, implement, and evaluate new processes to reduce waste
- Identify, recommend, implement, and assess revenue or cost reduction opportunities
Required Education and Experience
Master’s Degree in Health Care Administration, Business Administration (focused in healthcare management), Public Health, or other healthcare management-related degrees.

Salary Information
This compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year). Offers are determined by multiple factors including equity, skills, experience, and expertise, and may vary within the range provided.
