Visiting Assistant Professor of Business (OB/HR)
Job Description
The Business Department at Wheaton College (MA) invites applicants for a full-time, non-tenure track Visiting Assistant Professor with the ability to teach a diverse range of business courses, including Fundamentals of Business, Organizational Behavior, Business and Management Responsibility (Business Ethics), and Human Resources. The position will begin Fall 2024 for a full-time one year appointment with renewal based on a successful annual evaluation. The teaching load is a 3-3 with the expectation of being on campus 3 days a week.
The Business Department (Business Department) consists of ten full-time faculty in a diverse range of specialty areas including Marketing, Accounting, Finance, Management, Organizational Behavior, Human Resources, Business Analytics, and Entrepreneurship. The successful candidate will share our commitment to integrating our business majors within a broad, interdisciplinary liberal arts education and contribute to the continuing development of a vibrant, growing business department with an inclusive, innovative, and collaborative culture.
Minimum Qualifications:
- We are looking for a candidate who has teaching experience in higher education.
- MBA or a master’s degree in a related field is required

The salary for this position will be commensurate with the qualifications, education and experience.
