Keene State College invites applications for an adjunct instructor to teach multiple courses in the Athropology Program for the Fall 2024 semester. This is a part-time, non-benefited position.
Course title: ISANTH-110 Cultural Anthropology

Introduction to anthropological knowledge and understanding of human cultures and societies. Cross-cultural comparison and review of tribal and industrialized societies. Application of anthropological concepts to provide understanding of other cultures and one’s own culture.
Course title: ISANTH-111 Archaeology and Biological Anthropology
M/W 12:00 PM – 1:45 PM

An introduction to the biological and cultural evolution of human beings. In addition to the prehistoric record, the course will cover primatology, human variation, and problems of theory and practice in archeology.

Required Qualifications
- Ph.D. or ABD in Anthropology preferred; Master’s degree in Anthropology considered.
- At least 2 years of undergraduate teaching in Anthropology at the College level.
