This is a benefited, full time position generally working Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm. Special projects may require occasional Saturday availability from 8am-12pm. Located at Scripps Clinic in Rancho Bernardo.

What you'll do:

  • Demonstrates to patients and co-workers, friendliness and courtesy, professional behavior, sense of caring, cooperation between departments.
  • Leads by example, demonstrating and personifying competent patient care.
  • Orients new clinical support staff to policies and procedures set forth by Scripps.
  • Act as a resource and trainer for medical assistants and other clinical staff.
  • Desire to be a support and mentor clinical support staff.
  • Responsible for collaborating with supervisor in completing Clinical training checklists.
  • Ability to provide feedback effectively.
  • Perform other work-related duties as required or requested.

Qualifications

Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills:

  • Certified Medical Assistant or Military Corpsman, plus two years applicable clinical experience.
  • Requires excellent skills in communication, problem-solving, team development, planning and follow-through.
  • Ability to exercise the authority and responsibility for assigned services based on the scope of the organization and complexity of patient care.

Required Certification/Registration:

  • Completion of a formal Medical Assistant program or Military Corpsman program pursuant to the Division of Allied Health Professions.
  • American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS required in clinical setting.

Minimum Rate (USD): 26.94 - Maximum Rate (USD): 36.36
