Your Role
The MCS Post Service Team has responsibility to oversee and manage specific vendor relationships focused on providing high quality care and services that support different areas of the business. The Program Manager, Senior will report to the Program and Project Senior Manager. In this role you will provide compliance oversight, updates, and contract adherence while partnering with cross-functional stakeholders.
Your Work
In this role, you will:
- Provide overall program leadership, guidance, and manage all aspects of a given program, including contract, budget, reporting, operations, and vendor oversight
- Develop strategies to ensure optimum support for projects and for the day-to-day operational activities, including daily oversight and auditing of contract, processes, invoices, and outcomes.
- Review program budget variance and scope change requests, and participate in the budget-resolution process
- Lead cross-functional meetings and foster teamwork; drive escalation and resolution of issues, while promoting collaboration and coordination across broad categories of stakeholders
- Support and collaborate with subject matter experts while providing technical expertise in planning, execution, and leadership of program, projects, and initiatives
- Write and maintain processes and procedures to ensure compliance
Your Knowledge and Experience
- Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Requires at least 5 years of prior relevant experience
- Master's degree desired
- Health care or health plan experience desired
- Program, project, and vendor management experience preferred
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and communication skills preferred
- Collaborative, results oriented mind-set preferred
Pay Range
The pay range for this role is: $ 87230.00 to $ 130900.00 for California.

Blue Shield salaries are based on a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, location (California, Bay area, or outside California), and current employee salaries for similar roles.
