Position Summary:

Rowan-Cabarrus Community College is seeking a Customized Training Instructor (adjunct) to deliver instructional service in Rowan and Cabarrus counties. We are seeking instructors who have extensive certifications, experience and/or coursework in BioWork, Pharmaceuticals, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Industrial Technologies, or related science.

Required Education/Experience:

  • Associate’s degree in the discipline with extensive certifications, experience and/or coursework in BioWork, Pharmaceuticals, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Industrial Technologies, or related science.
  • Related field experience and education.

Duty and Responsibility:

Prepare course content and deliver classroom and/or hands-on instruction where applicable.

Duty and Responsibility:

Meet with Director and client representatives in preparation for writing customized offerings.

Process Rowan-Cabarrus Community College paperwork according to established processes and guidelines.

Duty and Responsibility:

Follow all Rowan-Cabarrus and client company processes and procedures.

Utilize College technology for the delivery of instruction and completion of operational processes; this includes but is not limited to the College’s learning management system, email and calendaring solution, document management system(s), student information system, and employee portals.

Meet deadlines, including maintaining and submitting accurate class records, employee records/requests, and other assigned tasks.

Duty and Responsibility:

Work collaboratively with the College’s support services to identify and address the students’ academic support needs. Support student advising, registration and recruitment efforts, as appropriate or required.

Facilitate a positive, student-centered, and professional environment among students, faculty and staff.
